The Self-Employed Program (officially, “Self-Employed Persons Program”) allows people to immigrate to Canada with their families as a self-employed person. Minimum criteria include:
- 2 years’ relevant experience in cultural activities or athletics in the last 5 years
- willing and able to make a significant contribution to the cultural or athletic life in Canada
- scoring system for experience, education, age, language abilities, adaptability
