What is the Yukon Nominee Program?

The Yukon Nominee Program is a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) for Canadian immigration by the Yukon territory. Applicants apply directly to Yukon, and Yukon nominates accepted individuals to Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for immigration.

To qualify for any Provincial Nominee Program, you must have the skills, education, work experience, and funds needed to settle in the province or territory of your application.

Yukon currently has 4 immigration streams: (a) Skilled Worker, (b) Express Entry, (c) Critical Impact Worker, and (d) Business Streams.

Who can apply for the Yukon Skilled Worker Program?

You may qualify for the Yukon Skilled Worker Program if you:

have a valid job offer
have a valid work permit, if already working in Yukon
have at least 1-year relevant work experience in the last 10 years
have at least a high school diploma
meet minimum language proficiency requirements (CLB 5/7)
proof of Canadian education, if applicable

Who can apply for the Yukon Express Entry Program?

You may qualify for the Yukon Express Entry Program if you:

meet the minimum criteria for Express Entry
have a valid job offer from a Yukon employer
have proof of settlement funds

Who can apply for the Yukon Critical Impact Worker Program?

You may qualify for the Yukon Critical Impact Worker Program if you:

have a valid job offer
have a valid work permit, if already working in Yukon
have at least 6 months’ relevant work experience in the last 10 years
have at least a high school diploma
meet minimum language proficiency requirements (CLB 4)
proof of Canadian education, if applicable

Who can apply for the Yukon Business Program?

You may qualify for the Yukon Business Program if you:

have a net worth of $500,000
invest $300,000 with a minimum 1/3 business ownership
have at least 3 years’ business/management experience
have at least 5 years’ relevant work experience
have at least a high school diploma
meet minimum language requirements (CLB 4)
score at least 65 points in Yukon’s assessment system

Can family members accompany the principal applicant?

Yes, you can bring family members that you declared in your Yukon Nominee Program application. These include:

your spouse or common-law partner
your dependent child (<22 years old)
your spouse or common-law partner’s dependent child
a dependent child of a dependent child
